Andy is a comedy writer, improviser and actor based in New York. He performs improv and sketch at the Magnet Theater, and most recently worked as a writer and lead researcher for Uncommon Sense Live on MTV2. He previously researched for The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, A+E Networks' Black and White and the relaunch of Spy Magazine on Esquire.com.

Andy is a graduate of the improv training programs at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater and the Magnet Theater. He's grateful to have studied under some incredible teachers, including Armando Diaz, Mick Napier, David Razowsky, Susan Messing, Rich Sohn, Rebecca Sohn, Jill Bernard, Asaf Ronen, Louis Kornfeld, Peter McNerney, Nick Kanellis, Rachel Hamilton, Christina Gausas, Kevin Frank, Gary Austin and Michael Gellman.

Andy began improvising as a member of ComedySportz Philadelphia and Philly Improv Theater. He is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University with degrees in creative writing and film/media studies.
